A Quick Diversion:

The Actual News:

Aye yai yaiii!

I spent all day on this that I forgot to spend the time working on some Pokémon Legends: Arceus news, like how the game might take place during the Pokémon World’s version of when Commodore Perry of the US Navy brought his Black Ships to Japan to force it to open up, which in turn had far reaching consequences on how the Tokugawa Shogunate dealt with their occupation of Hokkaido. But we’ll have to get to that later.

Instead of that, I ended up working on the first of many new Fake Carding pages for the site. You can even see it updated in the sidebar: it’s the How To DIY Guides section. In it is the first page: Getting Back Into Making Fake Cards. This is more for anyone who is similar to my situation where I had fallen out of faking for a while but want to get back into it. Right now, however, the page covers everything that you might have missed in the years since PA!’s good ol’ days… namely, everything that happened after our EX-era blanks.

Here’s a quick overview of what I wrote up:

  • BLANKS: what kinds of blanks have come about since the EX-era?
  • CARD TYPES: what else is there to make past Pokémon-ex?
    • For completeness sake, I included ALL the various card types, going back to the Dark Pokémon from Team Rocket.
  • WAYS TO EVOLVE: How do all these new card types fit together? Can you Mega Evolve a Pokémon Lv.X??

That’s basically everything I’m gonna cover on that page for now. It may not be much, but it’ll at least help get an old timer like maybe you who used to send me fakes back in the olden days and miss making them, but find getting back into things a bit daunting because there’s like 15-20 years worth of Pokémon TCG mechanics you need to catch up on. Well, that’s what we’re here for! We’re gonna get through this together!! … er, dang it, now it sounds like you got arrested or got cancer or something, which is more dramatic than mere faking.

Anyways, that’s all I’ve got to say right now. I’m gonna keep this post short because I’m about to crash big time, and my warm comfy bed is calling for me. Enjoy!
