The Actual News:

While I was waiting for something to render, I had a brilliant idea… and like all brilliant ideas, I had to execute it while it was still fresh on my mind. Now, I may make more of these… in fact I probably will, but I wanted to at least get these two out.

Whaddya think? This is actually the first two fakes I made using my Neo Redux blanks. I also tried to make them attacks which went along with the lyrics and/or any other overall theme or feeling…

In the case of Umbreon, flipping a coin felt head-beaty, to go along with what’s basically the biggest hit from the Post Malone concert:

As for “Congratulations”, clearly Post Malone’s Umbreon gains more power with every new Pokémon that comes around… new Pokémon who wasn’t with it before when it was all alone…

Concerning Post Malone’s Gyarados, kinda made a bit more sense that it wouldn’t dare hurt anyone unless they hurt them first (“Doomed from the Get-Go”). And for its Running in Circles attack, if your opponent tries to run away from you by Retreating… well, no fair trying to escape the pain. You gotta be here with me; I’m not taking the blame alone.

I made these the old fashioned way in Photoshop, only because I didn’t have InDesign set up to use my Neo Redux blanks yet. I guess if I make any more of these, I’ll keep doing it in Photoshop, but my eventual “Space World” fakes will definitely be made in InDesign.
