Oh God, what a day my yesterday was. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will say this: if you see a dead animal in the middle of the freeway, PLEASE DO NOT STOP YOUR CAR IN THE FREEWAY. And ESPECIALLY don’t convince other drivers to stop their cars too, thus blocking literally every lane of traffic just after a blind curve! You’re going to cause an accident when some unfortunate but also incredibly handsome and intelligent driver 1000 feet (300 m) behind you doesn’t see you and slams into you at 55 MPH (90 kph).

Anyways, I’d thought I’d take some time to share with you a few tidbits which have been piling up over the last week or so.

BALL GUY GALARIAN TEXT

So as it has been reported by everyone else by now, by registering for the April 2020 International Challenge, you’ll get a free “Ball Guy” shirt!

Oh look! Galarian text! But… I can’t seem to read what it says. In fact, it looks like most of the screenshots about the shirt are all hard to read. The best one I could find was a screenshot at Project Pokémon, which helped give me some clues:

Based on this, it seems like the words Ball Guy says is…:

So what does it say? Well the word for “Galar” (GA9A4) is obvious… but the rest of the text (w^uio2 !i) is basically junk text. Or like… the second word is DEFINITELY only found in junk text. The first word is only seen twice (as far as im aware): once in a block of text at Wyndon Stadium, and on all “Exit” signs.

Sooo… maybe Ball Guy is saying “Exit to Galar!”? … but… what the hell does THAT mean??

THE “N” SWOOP

This is just a bit of fun… but I just realized a certain coincidence on a number of N-related products: they all have a certain kind of “swoop” involved with their brand image. Don’t believe me? Take a look at this handy graphic!

See what I mean? Now what would complete this “N” swoop connection would be to have a Neo-era Pokémon TCG card depicting a Nidoking wearing a pair of Nikes with a Newport hanging out of its mouth.

…not that I would have a picture of the sort anywhere. Lol, that would be… eheh… ridiculous.

TYPE FONT – CURRENT SITUATION

And last of all, just a small update to point out that I’m finally done tracing the symbols for both VG and TCG types. Take a look!

I had to take some minor liberties with the TCG symbols, as they were changed ever so slightly with the release of the Black/White set. I ultimately went with the Pre-BW designs, but I may incorporate tge Post-BW version in a later version.
