A Quick Diversion:

The Actual News:

I wanna keep this post short as to not distract from the awesome news about beta Pokémon I just posted, but actually, it’s the fact that there is news about beta Pokémon that makes me want to post about the GS Space World Fake Card set I’m still working on.

So just recently I decided that I was going to split up the Space World set into at least two individual sets, maybe three. The idea is that, even though this might mean more work for me, it will actually make each set a bit more manageable and realistic. Like, classic Gen 1-2 sets where ones where all the new Pokémon were released over a span of three sets—think Base-Jungle-Fossil for Gen 1 and Neo Genesis-Discovery-Revelation for Gen 2. So since I’m making a set which is trying to introduce all the beta and nonexistent Pokemon which exist in the Space World ROM, it seems reasonable to also make it two or three sets long and spread them all out that way.

Doing it this way too, it allows me to not only keep the set size a bit smaller—say 50-60 cards over three sets versus 140 cards in one—but it also gives me a chance to add in other cards which I originally chose to skip because it would’ve made the one set too large. And so now, not only will I include Pokémon which I initially rejected, such as Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff, despite having Igglybuff, but it also gives me a chance to include any Gen 1 Beta Pokémon that might be uncovered as a part of this recent Beta Bombshell (see my previous post, “BIG BETA BOOM“).

This is all still in the planning stages, I still have other work I need to get to… but in the mean time, I’m gonna clean up the GS Space World Fake Card set page, which has gotten a bit messy with me adding in random thoughts and ideas and not removing stuff which is old hat by now. When it’s done, I’ll let you know.

Huzzah, good times!
