The Actual News:
After I put PA! on near indefinite hiatus back in 2004, I started work on a webcomic series titled Moose River. Long story short, I did that for about five years until I put THAT on indefinite hiatus… until just recently when I came back to it. It’s also the primary source of Adventure BattleMon, as that was a way for me to mix both Pokemon and Moose River together.
If you’re here, it’s because I referenced Moose River on the site and I wanted to share the link to it. However, even though PA!’s audience is almost definitely of the appropriate age to be able to read the original Moose River stories, it doesn’t mean that it’s anything like Pokémon. The Moose River is a drama-comedy and so there is definitely a lot of grown up stuff in there that Pokémon tends to gloss over, and which I’ve only hinted at in Adventure BattleMon.
