Crap about the website itself. Important only if you like reading crap about the website itself.

These games are perfectly fine. Why all the hub-bub?

The latest Pokémon video game—Pokémon BrilliantDiamond/ShiningPearl (“BDSP”)—was released worldwide this past November 19th. And just like almost every single Pokémon game released since Pokémon Yellow in 1999, I bought it on Day One and have been playing it as much as I can since then. And, well… it’s everything I expected it to be, and […]

It may be twenty years hence, but we can't forget the nostalgia-fans and old-mags of Pokémon!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not updating earlier… BDSP has kinda… well,… absorbed my time. Plus I’m still getting used to my new work/sleep schedule; like, in the past I usually would start working on an article around 9pm my time, but that was because I could go to bed any time I want. Now my […]

It's Super Effective!

Good gravy that was annoying, but it’s good to be back! Today I’ll share with you what has happened over the last couple months, some tinsy changed happening with site post cycle, as well as two little Pokémon TCG-tidbits that I found out about in the mean time. This post is not to be missed!!

Ok, you can stop poking me now...

God being an adult is the best thing in the world. This is what I’ve always been waiting for ever since I was a kid. I don’t have to go to school anymore, I don’t have adults breathing down my neck… I’m my own man, totally free to do whatever I want! Eat ice cream […]

Ah ah ah ah barely alive, barely alive

Ack! Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I’m still alive! I try to leave my personal life out of website stuff, but hey, I’m only human… and when my personal life begins to affect updates, I think it’s only fair to let everyone know what’s up. Nothing drastic, but due to the Human […]

...plus two bonus fakes! Well, one for now, the other is a secret and will be revealed later.

Er, I mean, it’s not a magazine of illustrations that came with a card insert which happens to be in English… but… aw, here, lemme explain: So a few months back, the March 2021 issue of the Japanese-language magazine “illustration” (イラストレーション) had a special issue dedicated to all kinds of Pokémon TCG artwork used throughout […]

Oooh I'm a regular Indiana Jones! Except I'm not fighting anyone. Or going anywhere.

When it comes to making fake Pokémon TCG cards, I’ve learned that there are two main design goals that pretty much every faker aims for. But in both cases it’s about creating something you wish you could see happen in the game itself. Now most of the time we fakers have to do things on our own because… well, it’s not like TPCI and its franchisees will ever give us the tools we need to make the cards we want, right? Well, what if they manage to accidentally reveal those tools to us in plain sight??

Bringin' the site up to the 2010's!

OK so this is just a short “behind-the-scenes” post for both the website and my fake card making machine… but I felt it was worth sharing it with everyone. The TL;DR version is that my news is now in these easy-to-navigate blocks (which I’m sure you’ve already noticed) and that I’ve finally updated my fake card making capabilities such that I can start making them on a regular basis now. Huzzah!
